To produce highly consistent, dry flake ice, the system relies on rigorous real-time thermodynamic calibration working in tandem with the Danfoss compressor. Using an integrated touchscreen PLC, the microcomputer constantly regulates valve flow based on real-time data from a suite of thermal and fluid sensors. Should there be a sharp drop in facility water pressure, or if the refrigeration compressor exceeds safe heat dissipation thresholds, the PLC instantly shuts down the cutting motor and triggers both visual and audible alarms. This closed-loop logic ensures that water injection scales seamlessly with the compressor's cooling curve, effectively preventing the production of wet, slushy ice or mechanical freeze-ups, even in high-humidity factory environments.
